I stumbled over this one:
A V-2 in 1/48
Maybe this could be an interesting mission objective or a nice base for some Pulp conversions...

Yes, I had seen those some weeks ago on Comet´s website. Given the great quality I have experienced with Pegasus kits, I´ll sure get one or two of those. Intermodellbau´s coming up... too bad the old Dragon 1/35 A4 is no longer available. By combining a kit of each, I´m sure you could build a spiffing Amerikageschoss, or a Space Nazi rocketship.

The other week Michael Broadbent and I visited the annex to the Australia War Memorial. We had a lovely guided tour by Paul Taylor the assistant curator and one of the objects there for restoration is the V2. Here is a real one complete with original trailer.

Helen, these pictures are nice. In that dark hangar(?) the V-2 looked even bigger and more menacing. Thanks for the link, too.

I´ve taken some pics of V2s on my recent trip to London as well...

... have a look at the "RAF Hendon" and "IWM London" galleries.

Focused more on the "innards", though.

The US Army Artillery Museum in Ft. Bliss Oklahoma has both a V1 and V2 rocket that the US had used to reverse engineer for their own rocket program.  Pretty wild to see these things in the flesh.

IF you guys intend on doing some missions against a V2 site, Quarter Kit has several of the unique support vehicles used to move and support the launching of them.
