WWW1 (Fantasy) Rules - WWIFY AR:SE (FREE to Download)
« on: October 02, 2012, 04:11:19 PM »
Apologies for the crosspost - the rules effectively fall into two categories (ie Weird WW1 and Fantasy) - when i posted the figure related thread different people viewed and replied on each board, so I feel its relevant to post the rules on both boards.

I've had a few requests for a copy of the rules I wrote for the WW1 Fantasy game I ran at Salute.

As with my other rules, these can now be downloaded for FREE from my blog page

http://akulasrules.blogspot.co.uk/

Just click on the relevant logo on the lefthand side of the page.

Like I said, the rules are FREE, but if you like them, i'd appreciate it if you make a small donation to my justgiving page which continues to raise money for Combat Stress.

The justgiving page link is on the same blog page (just click on the Combat Stress logo).

The rules are meant to be really simple (you can pick up the game mechanic inside 5 minutes, and the rules are literally a double-side of A4).

I like games with lots of figures on the table, but that are fast-moving.  One tip - if you are going over the top, always have a reserve line, as defensive fire is DEADLY

The blog is now truly a complete load of AR:SE (AKULA's Rules: Skirmish Edition), containing the following rules sets:

Total AR:SE - Rules for the Zombie Apocalypse
Half AR:SE'd - variant with rules for mutants/aliens
Bad AR:SE - Modern Skirmish rules (Homage to Battlefield Bad Company 2 Game)
WWIFY AR:SE - WW1 Fantasy Rules

I should also thank Orkdung for hosting the WW1 rules (and AEG for the other sets) due to my complete lack of any technical ability.

 :D
