WW1 Belgium Dog drawn machine gun carts question?

Looking for a bit of help on this one.  What colour was the cart and likewise what colour are the dogs?  Thanks

They are a breed of Mastif, called Matin-Belge and were breed for pulling carts, for strength and endurance.
They could easily pull a load up to 300kg, and they had a big appetite, lots of bread and meat, if possible mixed with vegetables.
I am guessing a tan or dark brown might work.

LOL, yes that is a handsome hound. I am guessing that is the best color for them. From the way i understand it, lots of the carts were milk carts drafted for government service.

The standard issue dogcarts (Brigade models does both types) were in metal and were painted 'gris elefant' (i used a light grey)
