Endless: Fantasy Tactics is a tactical miniatures game designed by On The Lamb Games. With a focus on   boutique style miniatures and an art aesthetic harkening back to console RPGs of the 90s, you can build   your own custom team of knights, wizards, and monsters. Equip them with items and pick their abilities.   Fight it out in story scenarios, or recreations of your favorite games. A standard game takes about 20 to   30 minutes to play with 5-10 miniatures and uses a D6 pool-based system of gameplay.

You can download the Work-In-Progress Quickstart Rules here.

Our goal is to get the initial figures sculpted and cast, and as we progress stretch goals add more   artwork to the rulebook. For the Kickstarter and retail release, we’ve sorted starter sets into themed   Elemental Crystal Chests, but you can easily pick and choose your perfect party once you have the models   in your hands. Additional funding will be used to cover additional Crystal Chests and models added to each   Crystal Chest, along with getting a printed Full Color Hardback edition made.

If you visited our booth at GAMA Trade Show or Adepticon you would have seen the first sculpt of the   Sorcerer by Daniel Fokine. Brother Vinni has done the Dragoon, and we plan to have a number of talented   sculptors join the range.

Endless uses 40mm (Avg to Top of Head) miniatures on a 25mm/1” square grid. Unlike most other miniatures   games, Endless does not feature faction specific models. All models are available for use by any player,   and can easily be mixed and matched to suit any personal taste or play-style.

After reading through the quick start rules this looks like a fun game.  From everything I can tell it appears to be a quick and fun game that can be learned quickly but will take a while to master, especially once the full rules are out.  I am working on making a board for it now, once I do I will run through a few games and put together an after action report/review.  Thanks for posting the info here Emily.  Welcome to Lead Adventures.

We had a very successful first day, with reaching over half our goal already!

We've also posted art of our first stretch goal, which will make the basic Earth Crystal Chest available as a reward choice. This chest includes the Earth Troll, Dwarf Gunsmith, and Beastmen Laborer.

We have a bit of fluff on the Beastmen race on our website. In short, they were a race Designed By Committee.

Just a quick heads up.  Endless is now 2/3 of the way to their initial target number and they have modified their stretch goals to be more compact (read cheaper) and offer more options.  I hope this helps On the Lamb get more support as I have already pledged what I can afford for this and I really want to see this idea succeed.

Thanks Angst,

Yes, we were able to more accurately gauge our costs based on what our backers are choosing as reward tiers, and have made it so that we start adding more models to everyone's pledge a lot sooner.

We've also shown off the contents of the Water Crystal Chest:

I know I'm horribly biased, but I can help but love that Gel Wizard.

Wow, these figures and designs are CUTE! Love the style, you never see this classic final fantasy sort of look in things, let alone minis.
I think you're short-changing yourselves just a little by trying to pass it off as anime-esque.  ;)
The concept sketches and figures are very definitive - almost something all their own.

Well 'Anime-esque' was mainly to convey the Big Eyes, Small Mouth aspect of the models, rather than a realistic style commonly seen in fantasy miniatures.

We're very close the goal now.

We've reached, and passed the goal now :)

Quote
We've hit $15k, the initial funding goal for the Kickstarter and are now on our way to the first stretch goal at $20k. Based on feedback from you and backers like you, we've decided to adjust the stretch goals so that you get more models quicker and move production of a hardback copy of the rulebook to later.

At $20,000 we'll unlock the Water and Earth Crystal Chests, and add an additional Adept to Fire.
At $25,000 we'll add a Squire to Fire, a Gel Wizard to Water, and a Beastmen Laborer to Earth.
At $30,000 we'll unlock the Miasma and Void Chests
At $40,000 we'll add a Dark Knight to Miasma, a Rune Fencer to Water, a Rhapsodist to Air, and a Gunsmith to Void.
At $50,000 we'll add a Fire Troll to Fire, a Crusader to Water, a Berserker to Miasma, a Beastmen Engineer to Earth, and two Bandits to Void.

$55k->$75k will be a variety of 'Named Heroes' added to Thief Level, Dragoon Level, and Cleric Level.

At $80,000 we'll add the Summoner to Air.
At $100k we'll do the Rulebook, Item Bag mini, and Enhance the Item Deck.

New Art!

New Extras!

For $10 you can get a set of 6 D6, these are only going to be available during the Kickstarter. After the Kickstarter is over you'll be able to choose to get all of one style, or a set with one of each. Additionally one of each Die type will be included with Cleric Level (and higher) backers.

The final dice will feature slightly thicker lines, and a darker etching on the blue dice.

Additionally we have a Modular Game Table from Outrider Hobbies. This will allow you to have a 20x20 modular playing area, including a variety of height levels. Because of the weight we've arranged for this extra to be shipped directly by Outrider Hobbies, so it will arrive separate from your other rewards. If you'd like to get one of these please include an additional $60 for US Backers, $80 for Canadian Backers, or $100 for UK/ROW Backers. These prices include the shipping costs for the tables, but not for your regular rewards.
