« on: 08 October 2012, 08:35:43 PM »
So I finally finished up a commission that I've been working on for a friend from CDO....in which I was painting the Chaos Warrior Versions of the MM90 Chaos Dwarfs that he had already painted.  here are the last three pairs.  If you want to see more detailed pictures of the Chaos Warriors and read some of my thoughts about the process please check out my blog: http://bluesmarauders.blogspot.com/

Here are the pics...

The skull helmet chaos dwarf and his larger counterpart are some of the first GW figs I painted many years ago. Really nice job!

I re-acquired that warrior sculpt out of nostalgia a couple months ago. Still have the painted dwarf... he was one of the first paintjobs I was proud of.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Think I had some of those Chaos warriors once - definitely the guy with the sabre tooth on his head.

Thanks all...As mentioned they were a lot of fun to work on...I've loved the MM90s for quite a while now and, due to this commission, have a renewed interest in the Chaos Warriors....sorry wallet... :'(

Too true mate...I probably wouldn't have started painting again after a 15 year break if I hadn't had a venue to share my work with others and learn and watch theirs for inspiration.  I have found the same to be true with acoustic guitar playing...my other addiction.

Cheers,

Blue

I think it's time for a big ole' group shot now - if that's possible?
