Funny, I remember 'back in the day' being very unimpressed with these. "I see through new eyes..."

Now I finished 5 more Beastmen and 2 PSI Wolves... Next up is some Battleclones... I would really like to get my hands on some of the Battle-beasts, but it seems impossible right now...

Nice!

What will you be using them for?

No idea, they are just great models and I wanted to paint them... I am not really gaming anything anyway...

But they should be usefull for all sorts of generic sci-fi rules...

For some time I have been collecting what I can of the Spacelords miniatures. I know nothing about the rules, since as far as I know they are only released in German. I know a little about the background, but only what little I have been able to find on the internet.

Here are my first painted models. Some Phagon Beastmen.

I still have my copy of the rules. They are ok, but now I would use other rules like tomorrows war. It is a shame, that the guy from EM4 is not really re-releasing the stuff. I would complete it.

But that's not to bad either is it? Just painting because you want to.

Yeah... everything goes in generic sci-fi. Although these are a bit more sci-fantasy to me, so I thought you were going to use them for 40k or something.

I am not sure if these miniatures are selling too few copies from Em4, I know lot of people has been mentioning it to Doug. I know I would eventually buy into all the line, when my wallet would allow me.

Right now I would really like to see the Phagon Walkers and Battle-beasts to be re-released and I would be very interested in background material in English.

But that's not to bad either is it? Just painting because you want to.

It is pretty nice to just paint up something for no other reason than liking the models, but it would also be nice to eventually field them on a battlefield.

They could be used in 40k, especially since there is both Chaos and Imperial beastmen, but I would rather use them in a Spacelords setting, but it is kind of hard, since I know almost next to nothing about that...

Anyway, now they are painted and at some point they will probably see some action.

ooo you have some ones I dont have. I got a massive box full of these for $25 years ago in a fire sale. In retrospect I should of grabbed all the faction deals they had going at the time.

I think I still have a ton of them in blisters somewhere. They are really nice figures

If you are looking to get rid of them at some point then please let me know  :D

A few more Phagons ready... I was planning to do some Battleclones, but all sorts of other stuff got me sidetracked and then I got a whole load of second hand Spacelords miniatures and among them some more Beastmen...

I did get one Battleclone finished though... and then some more Beastmen in another colour scheme...

I never knew there WERE rules, but being in German, and automatic translation in its infancy back then, no use to me.

Is there much on the background? Can you give a bit of what the rules have to say?

@Jonas I know I've a few Metal Magic around, but not sure about the Phagon. I'll keep that in my 'try to remember' list as I dig into piles at home. Unfortunately, I think they may have been all Yoyodyne.

I also have a set of rules now, it is a binder stuffed from front to back in German  :D I can't read that good German, but at some point I will look through it and see what I can get out of it.

Of the background I know only a little.

The Phagon apparently is some kind of mad scientists, making Battleclones, Beastmen, Battlebeasts and such to fight in their wars.

The Yoyodyne is some eastern inspired empire. That is like all I know.

The Cybertech is one of the bigger forces, with much different and good equipment, some power armour and good weapons.

The Sarday'kin is apparently some new renegade faction with enough bucks to have the newest and most advanced equipment.

@ The_Beast: If you find anything you want to get rid of please let me know, I am interested in most factions, but beginning to have a good deal of everything.

Those Phagon are pretty nice! Great paintjobs!

It is always nice to see more painted Spacelords miniatures out there.
