No, you think it is obscene and I think it's across the line, but those are only our opinions.

Others obviously think it's fine.

I'm sure at least one mod has seen it by now or will be along shortly and remedial action will be taken if required...

I've removed the pic, this mini is really a matter of taste. Not my cup of tea too but you still can see it using the link in the initial post and discuss about it.

But please calm down and stay cool.

Great miniature...shame about the size (too big).

Shame about the censorship...it's not that obscene to be honest (I've seen and painted much worse miniatures). If people are offended by things like this, why do they read threads with "Pregnant Zombie" as its title? That's a dead give away for distasteful stuff in my opinion.

Apologies, I didn't think I was over-reacting.

the idea is quite creative, somehow borderline. My personal comment: "EW." :)

Sorry to anyone that may have been offended.

Thanks Prof W for the action, good point about NSFW, granted common sense would let you use viewing anything miniature wise at work with common sense and I tried to make sure the header gave some warning.

Yes, as said before it is a matter of opinion as to what is considered art or vulger by each person and I can respect that.

Back in the day I worked for GW and my co-worker was showing this 11-12 year old boy various 40k armies after giving the kid a demo. He got his mother to come in and look at the game as he was all excited, Vince was showing him all the types of armies around the store, there is the Marines, Guard and we even have bad guys like these  demons, he picks up and shows the kid a of of Damoneetes (the old metal ones with the boobs showing) to the kid and mom....she made the kid leave the store. Ack! Bad choice what box to pick up!

OK, as this topic already seems to be mainly for meta-ranting rather than product commentary...

Is there any reason why this belongs to Strange Aeons more than to CoC, post-apoc and such? Every now and then I see rather arbitrary stuff posted on the SA forum for no other reason than "could possibly be used"...but doesn't that cover pretty much all CoC and horror minis out there? I'd prefer seeing generic, multi-purpose stuff on the top level forums and only specifically SA-related things like official products, rules questions and reports in here.

Regarding whatever-safeness, all content shows up in the "view the most recent posts" listing, when browsing user's posts etc. so these do turn up even if you don't click any "contains lead porn"-tagged topics. Personally I don't care as we spend half of the year naked here (not zombified, though) and make a distinction between lead and reality, but I guess in some cultures and environments you're not supposed to browse any tits or gore. (Well, at most workplaces you probably aren't supposed to browse hobby forums at all but I already digress...)

Nice figure, great paint job but not for $12.99.  He'd sell 3 times as many for $4 and still make the same money.

As an aside shouldn't this be posted on the Post Apoc board?

Agreed, the Strange Aeons board should be used for offical SA miniatures from Uncle Mike's or for any miniatures that are actually meant to be used for a Stragne Aeons game or campaign.

All new threads do show up on that list, but they don't get opened until one clicks on it, and as I mentioned before the thread title should be a dead giveaway (hah!) ;)

It does fit in to Strange Aeon,I think it fits in with the type of creature Herbert West would create, Blasphemous Construct, Conglomerate, Zombie,if that was in a movie I would cringe, Yes it may be bad taste but then thats why we watch horror movies,  I play Strange Aeon with macabre creature on the table am playing a game of horror, and that would make a good monster on the table.
Same can be said for Heresy ghouls with the female ghoul holding a dead baby.

I like the zombie. It's something new instead of the regular poses.  :)

Actually, no, I have never seen that list :D

I was talking about the "show unread" list.

lol same for me! I usually tend to read only the titles, and choose for the most "relevant" ones. "pregnant zombie" looked for somethig weird, and i expected that =)
