Awaiting my BoB troops
« on: 15 October 2012, 05:02:34 AM »
I took a look at, and was impressed by, Baker Company's Vietnam era minis.

I ordered about 25 each USMC and NVA, to give enough troops if either side decided to go full horde mood.

Now I'm just waiting for them to arrive from the UK... ;)

Sounds great!  I'm awaiting some figs for my secret project.

Hey, the troops are here!

I'll have to wait for a week or so before my schedule clears enough to start painting, but they look pretty nice! ;)

Awesome!  I lost a critical auction on saturday that screwed me on my project.  Got a few items still waiting to arrive from the UK.  Then I'm going to start in and smash it out.

We also have two new demo tabletops in the works that I'm committed to making super badass!

*Super* badass?

Should we be getting ready to be impressed or terrified? :o

Thought I'd just add to this - at the end of the year, I ordered 40 figs from Gripping Beast.

20 Romano-Britons and 20 Saxons.

They arrived yesterday, and they are very good looking.

Sadly, I haven't been able to paint my Vietnam guys due to being busy working, followed by being sick, and now these new guys will have to wait, also. I have a new, 6-month long contract that is pretty intense at the moment. Hopefully, things will ease up shortly.

Can't wait to see 'em.  I understand the busy part.  We've got about 7 weeks until ConQuest Sacramento and I'm getting new demo boards together.  Panic!  :D

Sadly, no pictures. And even sadder, no painting done on ANY miniatures this year. :-[ Heck. I haven't done much with my scale models, either, and thanks to Daylight Savings Time, now there's more time to take care of stuff around the hosue when I get home from work!  :'(

I'll be at ConquestSac on Saturday, next week, so I'll be looking for you and the BoB area.
