Thanks for sharing those. SELWG always used to be one of my regular shows, but since they brought it back, it always seems to conflict with family and other engagements
Anyway, some nice pics of some great looking games there.
Although looking at the pic of the Gravesend game, I do wonder why groups bother to take such an uninspired table to a showcase wargames event...
I guess for some people the visual / asthetic qualities will always be secondary to pure game itself...

To be fair, that was not the most 'uninspired' table there.

There was a naval game which consisted of some ships on what appeared to be two cotton sheets.
(Complete with obvious seam in the centre of the table).

It may well have been a great game to play, I do not know, but visually it was certainly 'uninspiring'....

As yar68 has demonstrated, though, there was still plenty of eye candy.

The Crawley table was fantastic. Lovely people too. They had a little crib sheet of unusual minis to spot on the table.. Including Tintin and snowy, a German flying off this motorbike, a firing squad etc... Lovely to look at and they were super friendly and very pro children. My hat goes off to them.  A sterling effort.
