gripping beast falklands
« on: October 19, 2012, 05:36:29 PM »
Hello,

In the British Falkland range of MoFo there is a guy shooting in the air in the pack with smg's, does anyone know with what he is shooting? I thought it is maybe a M79, or a flare pistol? Can someone help me.

Cheers

Yes, I have the figures too and I think it's meant to be an M79. It's a pretty poor interpretation of one but still that's what I believe it to be. TAG produce some decent M79s in their range of accessories, along with M72 LAWs if you are looking to dress these figures up for the Falklands.

Here's one of my chums with the real thing on the Canberra en route for, er... the real thing:

If you want to replicate the real thing in a game if you're playing anything but Special Forces you should impose an ammo shortage as the MoD insisted how it was a SF weapon so other regiments didn't need ammo for it.  :-[

Without doubt the MoD was the best unit on the Argies' side... ;)

Thanks,

Indeed for a M79 it's a fine and smal interpretation, that's why I wasn't sure.
I'm going to redo it.

Cheers

Why the double posted thread?

We drifted way off topic and I didn't think it was fair to the OP... so I split it.  :)
