Scenery W.I.P
« on: 07 November 2012, 03:33:31 PM »
Hi Everyone,

I've decided to work on some more Mythos scenery pieces.

This piece is going to be a large piece of artwork or relief that once framed will be hanging on some Mansion of madness or it could be some artefact that has just been unearthed.

I know it does not look like much at the moment but, what do you think so far?

Scale shot

thanks
George

I like it!

And agree, less sense it makes, more mythological it is.

What kind of putty have you used to make it?

Thanks  :)

I think I'll make a frame and base for this piece. I'll let you know what I come up with.

The clay is oven bake Cernit Polymer Clay, Just like Fimo or sculpey.

Thanks
George

Whatever it is; it's 0.8 Bobas tall.  Or is it 0.8 Imperial Fetts?  I always screw up the conversion.
This is my boomstick!

ooo, those really capture the creepy feel of the mythos, I just took a sanity test

Might even look creepier if you painted the horrible round things like eyes, or another whole "thing" in a fleshy color.

what are your evil little abominations made of?   Or do I not want to know?

Am I seeing too much if I say it looks like a cthulhu head at the top with the pearl in the forehead and another one on its side at the bottom?

Its easier to see in the scale shot.
