I think that some of the LAM post-apocaliptic witches would work. I also have an old Grenidier Gothic Horror hench man/maniac figure. He is fat & bald in a pair of coveralls. Also pulp figures has some henchmen that might fit the bill.

West Wind has some cretinous henchmen that might be useful:

For the behavior of degenerated villagers, movies such as Eden Lake, House of 1000 Corpses, The Devil's Rejects... can be inspirational; and of course there is that funny old Motel Hell ;D
