Most of them these days, if it's unbarded it's probably a ebob one. For some reason most of the pics haven't been updated though.
So many projects..... so little time.......

How common were they in the ECW?

During sieges and attacks on fortified positions cavalry (harquebusiers, not dragoons) would dismount and lead storming parties in attacks on breaches. Probably not essential ECW miniatures, but would make a rather nice pack or two.

Yeah, although it looks like a piece of 'sprue' has been cut off between the base and one of the front hooves. I would leave that attached when painting and then disguise it with some long grass or something when basing.

What size 28mm are they - Renegade/Bicorne or Perry?
If in doubt, fire everything!

The foot figures are definitely Renegade / Bicorne height, although more slender in girth. But they would tower over the Perrys ECW munchkins.

 :-* :-* These are lovely...a very dynamic addition to any force...I think the horse sculpts are Brilliant!  I understand everyones concerns...but I would be willing to take the risk for these beauties!
