Here's two units done for an 1812 Patriotic War game hence the quasi-uniformed appearance - Tsar picked Guard Cossacks serving alongside the partisans? Great characters regardless, and despite the antiquated weaponry:

I chickened out and was too cautious on the final red highlight  - still they came out all right.

Details and close ups here:

Here's a link to the second half: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2013/03/25mm-old-glory-cossack-wars-dismounted_9.html

And a few teasers:

I haven't sealed them or finished the bases but already, I think this second brown/blue unit came out better than the first, but your questions and comments are welcome and encouraged. Cavalry units will be up next in this project.

"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Pleasure.

Very nice painting by the way.
As OG sculpts go, these are not the worst I've seen - only one or two slightly squiffy looking poses and weirdly shaped heads. But they're greatly enhanced by your painting.

Agreed. Old Glory figures are hit or miss in general, but your paint jobs really overcome any limitations of the figures. Nice work!

Oh man - your painting really brought out the character in these Old Glory sculpts - even the ugly ones.  Just wonderful. Are these from the Cossack Wars range (I am being lazy and not looking up the codes)?

Thanks all!
@Brian Smaller - ya it's Product ID: COS-10 Dismounted Cossacks

Funny, I don't have that exact guy at top middle with the axe. I've seen others that I don't have too.
