The Mother Ship
« on: 17 November 2012, 10:28:02 AM »
It's been a while since I last posted anything on these VSF pages but today I've finally finished a project that i've been working on for a while: Le Vaisseau-mère - The Mother Ship.

Check my blog for more pics and details: http://28mmlife.6sided.net/

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

I built it for the the purpose of having big, bombastic monster to move around the table and look impressive.

I think it is rather fair to say that you have achieved your goal.  :o

Looks fantastic!  :-*

A WONDERFUL Creation! You've achieved your goal of having a truly impressive piece to wander your games...AND provided the rest of us with some fine inspiration. VERY WELL DONE!

As I've stated elsewhere, and you've proven SO well, stark raving bonkers, every last one of you...  lol

I think you may have missed the mark on 'disappointing', though. Should die GLORIOUSLY!

I'd think that it would never be intended to lead into battle, sending craft from behind, but, as in WWII carrier warfare, once caught, survival would be a serious challenge.

I shall start looking for suitable pieces for the theft of your idea, immediately!

Thanks for all the kind replies. This model was definitely a labor of love.
As for the above comment. You're correct Mr Beast. I should have more faith in it's ability to go down fighting in grand style.

I suspect these are the ones.

I thought they were a scratchbuild. Actually, I REMEMBERED they were a scratchbuild, and went looking for a post. Funny thing, it appears my head is a post. Little sign on it. 'Vacancy'.
