Production work has begun on the next Hail Caesar supplement...

No details on what they will be, anyone know anything?

To go with existing Warlord minis. (source facebook)

Havent said which ones yet.
And in the fury of this darkest hour
We will be the light
You've asked me for my sacrifice
And I am Winter born

Nice.
Although Im wondering what it should include. Their two earlier books were armylists and if I remember correctly they ended somewhere at the crusades. So later medieval armies are not included.
But looking at what they offer in miniatures I thought they were all mentioned in those books. Maybe this will be some kind of era specific books with scenarios and special rules for just those. It would make sense to make a book specially designed with scenarios, a little history lesson and maybe a painting guide for their plastic Roman boxes and their Celt/Briton/German tribes.

I'm hoping for early Renaissance, Wars of the Roses, Italian, Lansknechts, Swiss, etc!

As do I.

I'd be much happier knowing they were creating books aimed at expanding the historical periods that can be used by the rules, rather than just covering the miniatures lines they produce.

I think that's pretty unfair given how many armies are covered by the first supplement, which they don't produce figures for, and that we have no information on the content on the next one.

The evidence as it stands supports their covering a variety of historical periods.  :)

Their previous supplements go in line with what I expect from a set of historical miniatures rules.

I don't think it's unfair to comment on a change from producing a set of historical rules to producing a set of rules for their products.  This is one of the reasons why I like my rules companies to be separate from my miniatures companies when it comes to historical gaming.

Up until this point they have been doing a fine job.

Sorry n815e, I'd read your post the wrong way :)
