Guys in overalls
« on: 26 November 2012, 03:46:43 PM »
I need to find some guys in bib overalls, preferably with shotguns, for my VACW 2. If none are available how much would it cost to have some masters made?

Something like the ones found on these pages

The above is very good

Always a long sleeve workshirt and a hat (No gimme hats)

How about using some old glory hill billys? Head swaps would be needed but a few have the bib overalls.

The sickle in the fruitful field;
The sword he sung a song of death,
But could not make the sickle yield."

About four in the McClucky's set would do, but that's a lot to pay for just 4 useable figures. I guess I could put the rest on Ebay.

I found some at Brigade Games

I can use two of them for VACW, and the third can join my growing army of axe and cleaver wielding madman.

That cleaver could be replaced with a rifle laying on the shoulder fairly easily. Green stuff flat caps and those could be the ticket - good find.

I used Spanish civil war minis with head swaps, worked a treat, then just a matter of paint job to give an overall boiler suited look

I used from Empress some of the assualt guards and others in shirt sleeve order, they make a good representation for boiler suits, the heads snip off very easily and I used tin hat british heads from gripping beast. I am sure there were others that I used too

There are some mixed in with my militia here
