Work is progressing at a snails pace right now due to circumstances beyond my control so the only update I have is regarding the bases. I was going to use resin bases but they ended up being unsuitable so I made my own over the weekend. The tiles and paving slabs are just plastic sheet scored with a file (not very clear in the pic I'm afraid), the tarmac is wet & dry paper (fancy resin bonded sandpaper by any other name) and the litter is pewter sheet. I was intending to have these painted and all the Zombicide models based up by now but it's been a rather trying couple of weeks.

I am always impressed by your paintjob. Just curious : how long does it take you to paint a single Zombicide miniature ?
I wish I were an octopus to paint more miniatures...Cthulhu must be a great painter

It depends on the model really. Some of the simpler pieces may have taken an afternoon whilst others a full day. Bear in mind though that I'm easily distracted so I do tend to wander off every now and again which makes putting an exact time on things difficult.  ;)

Got a cople of Studio Miniatures pieces done which are part of the same commission.

Just a couple of Studio zombies to do then I can get everything based up.

Wonderful additions, as usual.
Even on a particularly awkward sculpt like 'not-Michone' (that poncho thing just does not sit right with me...), lovely PJ's.
 :-* :-* :-*

Bear in mind though that I'm easily distracted so I do tend to wander off every now and again which makes putting an exact time on things difficult.  ;)

That sums up my 'painting/modelling time' perfectly!
Easy to get distracted and wander off doing something completely different all the time...

This thread blows my mind every time I check back. Such great painting skills, and a really strong individual style too; after seeing the Red Box minis you did before, I think I'd recognise your stuff anywhere. Just lovely.

Amazing once again...and thanks for the answer.

Could you post a step by step or tutorial when you have time ? Your paintjob is so "smooth".

Very nice stuff, I've just received my Studio zeds, so I'm going to make a trip into the city for some hobby suplies and then I'll be able to get cracking. You've got some very inspiring stuff.

As ever, thanks for the positive comments everyone. Always much appreciated.  :)

I think I'll make a cup of coffee. What music shall I listen too? What was that thing I meant to look up online? Ooh, post! I'll just put these new models in the correctly labelled box with all the other boxes that constitute the lead pile. The CD's finished what shall I listen to now? That coffee has gone straight through me, I need to go pee. I'll just have a quick look on the forums. I'm bored with this CD I think I'll put something on Youtube on. What shall I watch on Youtube? I want to look at those new models again. I got an email. Oh it's lunchtime now!

It's a wonder I get anything bloody done!  lol

They're from Studio Miniatures. I'm not up to date with certain TV series or films so I honestly don't know who they're supposed to represent but it seems they are 'not' versions of characters. The client wanted them painting as part of the same commission so I thought I'd stick them here.

Could you post a step by step or tutorial when you have time ? Your paintjob is so "smooth".

I've planning for ages to do more tutorial stuff as there seems to be enough interest but time constraints have generally been the issue. It's also awkward to show some things in still pictures alone so I'm looking into getting a video camera but that's not as simple as I'd hoped (if anyone seriously knows their stuff when it comes to camcorders drop me a PM).

Oih!
You spying on me or something?!?

That is a perfect description of me whenever I sit down to start doing some painting/modelling.
