Came home to a great surprise today (2 actually if you count my free Dixon figure showing up)

Got my copy of Gloire in the mail from Brigade. Pete and Rich have done themselves proud. It's a great looking book. I guess I'll be cancelling all my big plans I had for tonight (leftovers, TV and an early bedtime) and read this sucker!

Everyone I know (including me) got their copies yesterday!

I'm very pleased with the way the book looks. I wish I had more time last night to sit down and savor it...

It was quite a day for our poor mailman. In addition to the books, I got a miniature from Pat Connor (intrepid editor), and my wife got a earthenware bowl for the crock pot. It was a bit like Christmas. As of bedtime, Simon and the cat were fighting over who got to sit in the crock pot box.
