I've seen them too but I think the price is too high. I don't really care if they're bond cars or not, in general I am willing to spend about 3 euros on a model, only more in special occasions (but they rarely happen).
Incidentally, at this moment Norev is doing a similar thing with a range of 2CV's so if you want those that magazine is a better bet. The introductory issue (with a black&bourgondy 2CV) was only 3 euros so you may find that one on ebay as well.
As for scaling I think 1:43 works well enough, I use GW style slottabases and mostly EM4 Future Warriors and they may look a bit small occasionally but it's impossible to find a better fitting scale with such a great abundance as 1:43 models.

The van on the right is 1:43, the car has no scale indication but looks more like 1:48 than 1:43 (so it's a bit better scaled).

This is a Corgi model without scale on the bottom, but it should be around 1:43
