Just a quick post to let people know that Midlam miniatures have a new website sorted now.Lots of the old Metal Magic miniatures and some new pieces too. They also do some very good board games at nice prices and comics too.

Thanks for this, I love Metal Magic dwarves, they are fantastic sculpts with very realistic proportions; no big hand/big feet mutations here. I have almost all of them and will post some up soon.

That Dwarven Winter Explorer is really neat looking.

I have a few of these Dwarves and they are great.  Need to paint them up.

Paul got the original sculptor of some of the Metal Magic miniatures to do some new pieces.Kev Adams has also done some for his growing range too.

My daughter loves the Stalagbites game and has played several demo games at the show's.

Does the stalagbites game come with any miniatures, or is the game just the rules and you have to provide the game board and units yourself?

The game does not come with miniatures but little tokens. You can add the miniatures if you like for a better looking game.It comes with it's own little board pieces too.A good game to get the kids into.I am sure the Jeepers one is the expansion for it.

The Creeping Jeepers are great! What an excellently whimsical name, I'm green with envy...

The old Josef Ochmann dwarves are really great! I just wish they would be cheaper. I'm kicking myself for not getting them from Mega Minis when they did them. Especially the minotaurs. They're too wonky to be almost €10 each.

They're pretty much the same as vintage Citadel unless I'm mistaken. Rather on the 28mm side of things than 25mm. In other words, small compared to current GW et al.

I never knew Dwarves were related to the Tudor dynasty.
Check out the Dwarf Kings Court set picture. A King, 2 Queens and an executioner. lol

I've got human models from the same range, by the same sculptor. They're exactly the same scale as old Citadel. I'm not sure which ones you mean though, as they have a mix of sources. Do you mean the armoured chaps on pages 3 and 4? If so, they should be just fine. Stupid lipped bases dwarfs anything...
