Omaha Beach...
« on: January 06, 2013, 12:57:05 AM »
Well the boards are pretty much finished for the clubs little demo game...

Constructed by my mate Skip, and then a little help from Tommo and me to get them finished... Im rather chuffed with what Skip has created. Now we just gotta fill it with men!

That looks like it will get messy for the attackers. Looking forward to the action report :)

Ooh, a very nice setup indeed! This is WN71-72 (Vierville Draw) yes? (I should really complete mine some day... :?)

Yes it is that area... Not quite accurate but modified to make it playable and get a few extra features in.

Lovely beach! 20mm is quite an unused scale here, but now i'd say it's a pity! ;)

It's got all the salient features, it seems. It would be futile to try make it 1:1 accurate anyways due to size etc. Plus there's surprisingly very little of pictorial or other sources available on this beach (the kind a modeller would want anyways).

Maybe add some barbed wire and other obstacles, and you're pretty much there?
