Sorry for answering a  bit late, I was on a 10day vacation.
I finally had the time to work on Planetfall!

I've got shed loads of epic, loved Adeptus Titanicus and space marine. Agis: where are the bases you've used from?
It is indeed small Flames of War bases!

Are those numbers on the 28mm fellow painted on? Tell me that's a decal!  o_o

These are all Decals, some are from the Cadian Transfer sheet, while others are from the big (expensive) and very good Forge World Death Guard sheet.

I was going to mention how much I loved the Epic stuff I saw on your site. I have been going back and revisting my epic from time to time. I have a little force of Imperial Fists queued up at the moment with basically those same models but add some bikes and robots and a few land raiders.

Man now I want to do full on small Heresy forces.

Thanks! More soon.  ;)

One of the points I will always fail to understand is GWs marketing strategy.
They could make a fortune with a 15mm Heresy Game, just imagine all the FoW craze and add the Horus Heresy IP!

Another “Small” update - A Emperors Children Epic Land Raider.

Classic plastic Land Raider, now known as Proteus LR. I also added some more tiny Details to the Rhino, please note the small headlights!

Some more 30K stuff, next week more Victory Decision Planetfall related generic SF minis!

Pretty much the same techniques as on the Marine statue.

Emperors Children on the Aquila...

Bionic Arms and Legs by Anvilindustries, all the rest by Forge World
And a new section on my website: http://www.adpublishing.de/html/iron_hands.html

The Iron Hands chapter came to my attention when reading the fantastic Fulgrim novel by Graham McNeal. The story of there steadfast Primarch Ferrus Manus was much to my liking. More or less by accident I painted two minis in their colours using the really good conversion parts of Anvilindustires. Since I was delighted how fast I could paint them I finished 5 Marines. At that time the first FW Iron Hands previews came around - and whuups - I was hooked!

More pics on my website!!!

The Emperor's Children was great, but these Iron Hands are just more in my taste! Really awesome job on converting and painting!

They look great  :-* :-*

Seamless appearance between FW and AI. Are they made from the same sort of resin?

cheers

The quality of the AI resin castings is IMO BETTER than FW!
Less flash - more or less non-existent - and less bendy.
I can only recommend AI, they also have a very good response time and are generous if something was shipped wrong.

These are some wonderful additions to the project, Agis.
Great blending of parts with a lovely paintjob to bring them all together.
Classy!

I've been looking at their stuff for a well. The spec ops are nice
Those iron hands: single piece legs or the multi-part ones?

I used the single piece legs. They are a fantastic fit!

How do you do it, Agis...?

With patience, an understanding wife and a still not shaking hand (turning 53 this year this might change in the foreseeable future...)!  ;)
