My Anima Tactics log

In the past couple of months I have been paining minis for Anima Tactics, hoping to get some games in this year.

I have been blogging about my progress (here; click for link), but momentum was a long time coming, yet I seem to have some now.

Anima Tactics is one of those ranges that I've been admiring for sometime; I've thus far been able to resist due their prices & the bewildering array of items presented. HOWEVER, if you continue to post BEAUTIFULLY painted & based examples like your FANTASTIC pieces above, I may well crack. SPLENDID WORK!

I agree with that. The Anima Tactics figures are superb sculpts and worthy of any display case even if they never see action. Real works of art, just unfortunately with a price tag to match.

Your painting style really does them justice, congratulations.

Very nice subtle paintwork. The miniatures don't really do much for me, what's the game like though?

Not played yet (want enough painted minis for that; I have the bare minimum and then some, but want a few more done first), but it includes a number of mechanics that emulate Japanese console RPG's like FF 7 and 8, Breath of Fire etc.

Great paintjobs on these.  My wife is currently painting one.  I find them too tiny and fiddly for my tastes, which only enhances my respect for your abilities.  I could not achieve these wonderful effects.  Bravo.

It's frankly nice to see them without the huge distracting concept art photos that Anima Tactics insists on including in all the published photos of their figures...
