Hello, LAFers!
I have been lurking for a time and I've finally decided to enlist for the cause
The boring Realworld
tm
information is that I'm a 33 years old Spaniard. I began playing with little soldiers long time ago as a child, and I haven't stopped since then
.
I got into this gaming world with good old Hero Quest (more than 20 years ago!), and begun to paint & play anything I put my hands on, mostly GW made. Though I have not been seriously playing anything for long since recent times, I'm trying to get back to it.
I've been almost exclusively into Warhammer 40K and so, but I'd like (I need) to aim for a wider scope, and I can't think of a better place than here to do so!
I guess I still have much more to learn than to offer
, but nevertheless I'll share my humble creations, minis (and doubts!) with all of you.
See you over here!

Bienvenido Suber!
Enlisting for the LAF cause has been a wisest miniature move that I have done for long time, I'm sure you won't be disappointed either. Great forum with great folks... that have (almost) too much great projects!

Welcome, indeed, benvenido y hola, to LAF, Suber!
That's all the Spanish I have I'm afraid.
LAF is one of the most amazing places you can possibly go to find all sorts of gaming from the distant past to the far future, via a whole load of things that both didn't ever happen! I hope you find plenty of inspiration here for all your projects... that you
must show us
, as we love pictures of people's games, minis, scenery and vehicles.

Thank you!
Your Spanish is most appreciated, I promise I'll try my best English.
I must confess I feel a little bit overwhelmed in presence of such talented painters, sculptors and absolute artists as I can see in LAF. But that's great, makes me want to improve!
Though I still have long way to do, I'm currently running a quite recent blog in which I'm bringing up anything that has come into my hands:
http://oldschoolworkshop.blogspot.com.es/
For sure it will end up fetching some of the awesome inspirational stuff I can see over here...

Welcome welcome! What kind of theme or time period are you interested in branching out to? In the past year or so since I came back to the hobby I've come to realize that there are figures and rules for almost anything you can imagine!

Sure! That's what I'm realizing right now! Oh my, what an entire world do I have to discover!!
I'd like to give a try to moderns and/or something historical, but I have a problem: Any new thread in this forum I see it's a brand new universe I'd like to get into!!
Let's see where do I end up...

Well, I'll suggest a game that falls into neither of your categories, but I think has great models and rules, and the company is in Spain: Carnevale. Take a look at it and see what you think. The guys at Vesper-On are top notch folks.

Bienvenido a LAF Suber.

(I got plenty of 40K, but that's precisely why I want to explore new things)
Thanks, Obsidian, I've seen their minis, they're wonderful. There are some interesting Spanish companies arising at the moment, which is great, provided that it doesn't look like there are many "international" Spanish painters/sculptors. We still have to do the effort to open ourselves to the world
