Love that Beaverette.  I have one as well and am so glad I bought it before the manufacturer became almost impossible to contact.  One of these days I may even paint it.

Great work - I have just been ordering a bunch of stuff for my own home guard force for Bolt Action. Very disappointed that the I cannot get any of the stronghold stuff (and that I don't have the modelling skill to make a Harvey flamethrower that would look anywhere near as good as yours!). Can I ask what colours you used for painting your homegaurd?

Cheers Guys

Huascar, I used the same recipe that I used on my WW1 stuff:
Uniform: Basecoat of Vallejo leather brown, Vallejo english uniform & add vallejo Khaki to English uniform to highlight
Webbing: Foundry WW2 blanco triad Triad only on the later painted stuff as I cant remember the recipe for those
Helmets:Vallejo German cam dark green - cam olive - Luftwaffe cam green & add uniform greem to final highlight only on the later painted stuff as I cant remember the recipe for those

hope this helps

The new BA British book has nice stats for a Home Guard, I'm hoping that Warlord releases the weapons no longer available from Stronghold, the Northover Projector and Blacker Bombard.
