what are some alternative figures for home guard other than Foundry?
Foundry are a bit expensive.

Convert warlord plastics by trimming the ammo packs on the webbing as i have done on the figure on the right



& you could alter the puttees but I don't think thats reall necerssary, the rest is just painting them the right colours

There's something very odd about those side caps  



I picked up loads of Foundry HG from Ebay & I got some from Colonal Bills, looks like they only have the pushbikes left

There's something very odd about those side caps  

Possibly because they're not worn on the side, but plonked on top of the head like tea cosies?
