Help Identifying Figures!
« on: 25 January 2013, 06:42:34 PM »
I've been chasing my tail for a couple of hours trying to ID these figures and I am hoping someone can help me here! I bought them thinking they were infantry from the US Army sculpted by Paul Hicks. However the long jackets, helmet covers and a few other bits have made me doubt myself. I basically want to know who they are and also who sculpted them. The pictures are below, and whilst they aren't amazing, I am still hopeful that someone is able to help! You haven't let me down before! Thanks in advance!

These are early Bolt Action US Army.  Their range was intended for the winter of '44 into '45 so they are wearing M1943 uniforms and the one fellow looks like he has improvised winter camo (bedsheet smock and white camo helmet covers).  Hopefully Paul can identify these as his own sculpts.

Boom! Perfect Johnny. That's what I hoped but having just watched Flags of Our Fathers there were similarities uniform-wise. At least I can just finish painting my Germans now and don't have to buy any Japanese!
