Transferring paints to dropper bottles problem

I bought like 50 sterile droppers from ebay to transfer my Citadel paints (I much prefer those, but I like some of the colors of the new Citadel range), but the damn things are just way too thick to pour. I also bought W&N flow improver and matt medium - anybody knows what is the right ratio of mixing them to the citadel paints to get a really fluid consistency? I already screwed up two pots of citadels, and my fingers and table looks like an explosion at the paint store...

Maybe you could use a big syringe to just suck the paint from it's pot and then inject it into the new botte. Shouldn't make as big a mess as trying to pour it in.

If the paint is too thick, just adding a few drops of water and then shaking it should do the trick

I poured mine carefully, but I did add a drop of distilled water and gave them a good stir first.

I use this same method, the only difference being that I stir the paints with one of these:

When the paint is too thick (or dry), I usuall go for a 50:50 mix of distilled water and Flow Improver, then a quick mix and then I use the pipettes for the transfer.

Five to ten drops, just enough to cover the top of the paint.

I second the paint stirring machine, just add the water/medium etc bit by bit until you get the consistency you want. (And don't turn it on outside a bottle with paint on it! ;-)

The trick to pouring into the new container is to use a thin rod to guide the paint. Hold the rod at the top, put the other end into the new container (not touching the side) and pour by placing the lip of the old container onto the middle of the rod and tilting until a steady controllable stream comes out along the rod and into the new pot.
