Cold War British
« on: 29 January 2013, 07:48:07 PM »
I finished up the last of the Cold War British I have (for the moment!) over the weekend. Here's what IU've got so far:

Regular infantry platoon. At some point I'd like to mechanize these lads with some FV-432s or Saxons... (and maybe a few more Carl G Teams)

Some support for the infantry: Milan, Mortar, Sniper and Forward observer team.

I also seem to have a few spare troops armed with SMGs - perhaps they can be dismounted drivers...?

Finally some special forces types - SAS or Royal Marine Arctic and Mountain Warfare Cadre...

Now to finish up some adversaries and get these guys into action!!

Those miniatures look the business. What maker/seller are they?

Cheers!

They are mostly Mongrel Miniatures with a few Gripping Beast Mofo figures thrown in.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

This is some of the best DPM ive seen.  Also, great job on the face paint.  Very realistic looking.
