Almost 40 pics on the blog: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2013/01/15mm-essex-french-and-indian-war.html

Since Muskets & Tomahawks (M&T) has exploded in popularity I thought I'd post some shots of one of the first armies I ever completed. Though there are twenty years old or so they still have some nice qualities. Here's a sampling:

55th Foot

Roger's Rangers

2nd Connecticut

I have to rejigger the units for M&T but I have a decent enough selection to draw from. There's a comparable page of French coming up soon.

Questions, comments are welcome!

"One of My Men Became Restless" focuses on 15mm Horse & Musket periods and 25mm Horse & Musket, Fantasy, Horror and Victorian everything! Occasionally there'll be stuff of related interest but it's mostly a painters blog.  See it all here: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/

Nice pics! But I am not sure about the white gaiters. In campaign were black or brown.

:-*  <--We'll start there.  Very nice - and one unit out of all those photos with white gaiters, I'll let that slide (especially since I have some, too!  lol)  And like that they are in 15 mm.

There's something special with Essex miniatures, I really like them.

And with a paint job like this!  :-*

Here's the French half of it all: http://flashman14.blogspot.com/2013/02/15mm-essex-and-minifigs-french-and.html

And a sampling of the contents - there are close ups of most of these in the blog itself as well as other units un-pictured here:

Languedoc Regiment in Summer dress

Coureurs de Bois

Canadaian Militia

Mission Indians

The French are pretty light in Indians but there's more to come -questions, comments are welcome!
