She and two of her students sang some Andrews Sisters a few years back for a school event. She's very impressed with the sculpts!

Great news!
I shall have to pick these up when they are ready, there is some cracking stuff in there.

I have just jacked in that smoking lark myself, so I sympathise with the keeping busy thing.
I kept really busy modelling for the first week to keep my mind off of it and it certainly helped.
Slowed down to my usual crawl since, though....

Good luck and keep at it, both the stopping and the sculpting!

Outstanding! I see some figures bigger than 1/600th in my future.

Stay in there on the cigarette thing

- one (probably only)

vice that never appealed to me - but I saw the struggles

my Mother had with that. Some people (my Dad) get off the first time but others (my mother) struggle with multiple efforts. From what I see it is worth it in the end.

It's been a while since I've added anything to this thread. I was awaiting the delivery of some more armatures (because I hate making them).

Anyway, here are two more to add to the growing list.
This first one is another adventurer to add to the other adventurers to make up a set of 5.

And this guy is the Boogie-Woogie Bugle Boy to go with the not-Andrew Sisters.
