I got caught up in the whole "2000AD Kickstarter fever" of Dredd then Rogue  ::)

Like a previous poster, I'm still waiting for the ABC Warriors.  No mention of these in their last update and I've given up reading anything from MG as it's always one excuse after another.

Mongoose should pop over and have a chat to Mantic on how to deliver a successful KS or two, without alienating their customers.

Still, with Warlord now producing the JD stuff, and ADB now taking over the running of the ACTA: Star Fleet stuff,  MG should have plenty of time to concentrate on Rogue...

Mantic, westwind, dreamforge any number of companies who work around 'real life' and don't treat their backers like mushrooms*

No that's about it. I contacted Rebellion about the negative impact on their IP. No response....

For me you cant go wrong with the Bronze Age miniatures figures.

 http://www.bronzeagemin.com/miniatures_html/32MM/SCI-FI/Mercs/32mm-Sci-Fi-ADV1.htm

Checkout all three pages.I had not seen the set on page three before. Now I need them ;).

Sorry to hear this has gone pear shaped.A real shame as it could have been a great range.

Hadn't seen them either.  :-* Drool.

I'd not seen this thread before.

I was in for RT in a big way, but pulled out several days before the funding period finished simply because the management of the KS showed all the amateurish hallmarks if mongooses usual incompetence. Oh, and there was no product other than 'big helmet rogue'.

Anyway, the most interesting things on this thread are :
1. I thought I had all the rogue trooper Bronze Age miniatures, but I see there are a load of Norts and Southers now, and a new rogue. Anyone know of a UK source? Fenris has some of the ranges but not scifi... Come on Geronimo...

2. Commander vipers collection of old citadel RT. Commander you have many southers there, I've been looking for one for years! I know this was sold as a rogue trader mercenary rather than a rogue trooper figure (with a JD code), but despite scouring eBay I've not found one. How do you do it?

To be fair, they do a good RPG. Minis are not their forte. Didn't the JD minis get delayed due to a flakey sculptor and they had to find a replacement?

No. Mongooses practices are so amateurish that anyone reputable simply won't / can't work with them.

Anyway to stop any form of publicity going to Mongoose, good, bad or otherwise, I'll be moving my Rogue stuff into it's own thread tomorrow, (looks at watch)... later today.

After conferring with the thread opener, who locked this thread due to the recent developments, we have decided to re-open this thread to allow further discussion of the specific topic of the Rogue Trooper Kickstarter by Mongoose.

A summary of the recent developments:

Despite achieving their funding goals in March 2013, Mongoose have failed to complete the project so far, with their informational policy being rather poor and unproductive. The original thread opener has withdrawn his support of the Kickstarter and received a re-fund and does no longer wish to be involved with this, as the prospects of Mongoose Publishing actually meeting their project goals are bleak, to be polite.

Now, the following rules apply:

Please post constructive posts, not stuff like "hurr durr, Mongoose Matt is such a dunce".

If there is actual news regarding the Kickstarter, this should go in this thread.

If this thread deteriorates into a Mongoose slugbash beyond reasonable criticism, or if ad hominem attacks pop up, I will not hesitate to lock the thread again.

I very nearly went all in on this, please I dodged the bullet. Tis a shame really as Rogue Trooper is great as an IP.

Latest update after I was getting 'grumpy'...

Creator Matthew Sprange about 8 hours ago
Christine: Yes, we are getting to the point of things going out - the Mega-City one models pledged for have started shipping, the Nort Pillboxes are at the mould makers now, and we have been told to expect some pictures from the Rogue Trooper sculptor next week. As soon as we get those, expect a proper update.
