I think at around $130 ~ $135k is where the Buckets of Blood level started to feel like a good deal to me. Of course I'd love for it to hit 200 or even 205, I'll be happy with the amount of toys I'll receive for my money at this point. :) Now I just have to find someone to play the game with.

There have been a lot of movement on this in the final stretch,  I hope they can keep up this pace.

Closing in on 160K! Buckets of Blood is now getting around 118 minis (plastic versions), a set of 10 doors and 3 dice sets before buying any add-ons. NICE!  :D

I think they just crossed 165K. That would mean 121 minis for BoB without add-ons!

Plus, Jim Bailey is taking emails for folks to commit 'good faith' money after the kickstarter closes, so he is going to add that total to the Pledge level when it's all done.

It's for folks that are in the middle of a paycycle, and want to pay in a couple of weeks, instead of today.

Regardless of the wisdom of such actions, he currently has another 3,500 ear marked that way.

So, adding that in, we're almost at the "free waterslide transfers" level.

It's gonna take a huge push here at the end for plastic Drop Troopers.

For me, the decals are of much greater value than the plastic drop troopers.  At this point it looks doable.

Yep, I agree, me as well.

I'm getting the drop troopers in proper metal.

According to Jim Bailey, with the 'post-campaign' funds hes counted, the Waterslide Transfers are in the bag.

Just a bit more would get us the freebie plastic doors....

That's cool, I just can't stand trawling through the KS comments page to find useful information.  I've already got a set of the original fenris doors, so that's not a priority for me.  Either way it goes, the push at the end is outperforming my expectations.  I had pegged it to end somewhere north of $150K but not by much.  I'm pleasantly surprised to be wrong this time.

While I love metal for display miniatures, I've pretty much sworn off metal for anything I actually want on the table.  Especially with big models like the APES, I haven't played one game were I don't end up chipping at least one model.  I'm afraid the drop troops would be the same way.  If we don't get far enough to get them in plastic, I think I can cobble together a set from the dust type III Germans.  They won't be totally WISIWIG, but I think they'll work.

I too have been impressed with these last couple of days.

I just hope that if somehow this thing gets to 205,000, folks won't 'unpledge' for the Metal Drop Troopers, since they'll be getting plastic ones for free.

That could be a disaster.

I hardly ever really get to play, so the metal works for me.  I do agree though, if I were a regular player (as opposed to a painter/collector) the plastic would be a much better alternative.

Space Hulk's latest edition had the best crossover appeal to me for minis (great to paint, great to play).  Too bad they can't use that quality of plastic.

While I think that's possible, I find it unlikely to have that great an effect.  First, I don't think that there's that much in the pot for the metal drop troops, maybe $10K.  Next, if the campaign makes it to the $205K mark, it would likely be in the last hour or so.  So to get a massive "unpledge", all of the metal backers would have to be watching right down to the wire and pull their pledges simultaneously.  So, again possible, but unlikely.

Good point.  Really am impressed with the amount of folks that have jumped on board.  This can only be good for the longevity of the game.

A great finish indeed! :o

Another kickstarter that "helped" me make the difference in height between the lead mountain and the plastic hills less and a great game to boot! Looking forward to trying this one out. I've been interested since the first edition, but just didn't get around to it. Now having everything in one go is great!
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?
