Based on the 2000AD comic strip, the Rogue Trooper miniatures game has been designed to let players take part in the clash of Nort vs. Souther on the shattered world of Nu-Earth.

This game very much needs your support, so we hope you will join us over the next month to see how it develops. Like the Judge Dredd miniatures game, the first draft of the rulebook is already available on the Kickstarter page for you to review!

I only just found out it was live and, oh, it's funded. Congratulations. I still think £3 is a lot for a standard trooper (not for characters) but I do really like this and I'm still in at some level, even if it's just for the RT figures.

I funded at the kaptain level. Now i think i need to sell my old gw dredd and rogue trooper models to fund major.
I fell like a kid at x-mas.
Finally a dream come true.
Now off to play some Rogue on x-box and get ideas for terrain.

After making the £4 pledge I see it has changed from an April delivery to a September delivery.
This should be interesting, not sure where in the world I will be come September!

We put September so no one would be disappointed with delivery rates. We aim to bring your models to you much sooner (and, in fact, have already spoken to other miniatures manufacturers to help us produce a lot of models far quicker than we can alone).

As I said in my long ramble before I felt everything you had done in terms of goal total, rewards, putting the rules out and so on was a great idea ... I don't think I would have placed a bet that you would hit the target quite that fast though.

Not being a Rogue Trooper reader I was wondering if anyone knew if the two panels to the left of this picture from the kickstarter page were actually from the comic, or just part of the concept art?



Either way I love the art style and if it isn't part of a book it damn well should be.

I originally wanted this game to be 15mm, but the overwhelming opinion we received was that it should be 28mm.

15mm would have been fine for Norts vs Southers in massive battles, but Rogue Trooper is about Rogue vs Norts and Southers and whatever else there was out there between him and the Traitor General. Rogue isn't about mass battles, it's about vengence, and that there is a 28mm skirmish game.
