The less I have to carry to game night, the better, so an app on my Ipad would be appreciated, and I'd be willing to throw a few dollars at it.

I would like a searchable strange aeons reference document. That would be handy.

We bring our iPads to the gaming table all the time for our weekly old-school pen and paper RPG sessions. Maps, notes, charts and tables; you name it, ANY game related .pdf we can use in play is made available via the powerful combo of DropBox and GoodReader.

If there was a Strange Aeons list management tool available for the iPad that would be freaking awesome. Especially if it allowed us to share, compare and quickly build a Lurker threat. Ok, a bit pie-in-the-sky the last bit, but I'm just pointing out the potential.

Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

I've got a foot in both camps here.  While I have an iPhone and use several apps semi-regularly, I prefer the old school pencil and paper approach when it comes to lists and I have gone through many over the course of Strange Aeons' development.  I think convenience will be the key here; if the app is easy to use, track and update then I think it is at least worth a look and a trial.

I had worked early on with a MS Excel-based list builder for Strange Aeons complete with drawdown fields for weapons, gear, skills lists etc. but it was a lot of work and I found it got a little complicated to maintain as we have added several skills and new weapons etc. since the Shocking Tales expansions.

With all that being said, I support the idea at least in theory.  We'll have to see if it gains enough momentum and interest to manifest itself in our reality...

We just started playing games of Strange Aeons via Roll20. When a buddy moved to a remote coastal village five years ago, gaming became impossible. The web based 'virtual-table-top' that Roll20 provides allows us a chance to play the games we like again.

Yes, we would prefer face to face pen and paper gaming, but this web based option is better than no gaming at all.

An IOS ap for organising lists could help to enable this sort of activity while keeping Strange Aeons on the radar of the current tablet generation for whom 'text' is all.
