Bonjour Brian,

Greetings from beneath 6 inches of snow in the Auvergne!

These are splendid and I'm pleased that you've brought Brigade Models to my attention as I think that I need some Spanish irregulars.

Dunno if they mix well with Front Rank but doesn't matter if they don't as they seem to provide a nice balance of poses.

Cheers,

Paul

Brigade games do some quirky stuff. I really like them.

Hey, they look nice! :) As a Spaniard I find both fun and pleasant meeting people interested in this kind of projects :). If you allow me, the only nuance I dare to point out is that the correct form to refer to them would be 'Voluntarios de Ciudad Rodrigo'. Nice stuff, I'll keep an eye on it!

Those are nice. Another project I must steel myself against plunging into. Between those and Eagle I think it would be entirely possible to do the British invasions of the River Plate.

Thanks for that. My Spanish is not as good as your English:)

This is hopefully the start to a Spanish Army in 28mm. I will be using mostly Elite Miniatures when I get around to ordering them for regular infantry and artillery because they are manufactured at a good price in Australia and postage between Australia and New Zealand is not too bad.  Cavalry I am not so sure about - maybe Front Rank or Connoisseur.

My French army has always been built around the Grande Armee 1812. This foray into the Peninsula is new for me.
