All Things Zombie Final Fadeout - vs. No More Room In Hell
« on: 18 February 2013, 06:36:23 PM »
All,
Looking for opinions here as to which gives the best game.  I have played both Iron Ivan Games and Two Hour Wargames, and like and dislike thing about both systems.

I've only ever played my own home-brewed zombie game.. Campaign and character advancement made it incredibly memorable c:
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

I have not played ATZ but have played other THW games however no more room in hell is a real blast and my kids really enjoy the zombie action. Hope this helps

Zombie-a-go-go from Monomer games is a lot of fun, number of zombies is determined by the cost of your heroes.

Zombies you can outrun - the mistakes of your fellow Heroes you cannot.

There's also the free "Dead Walk Again" rules.

I actually like both sets of rules... but for campaign play I would say ATZ Final Fade Out wins! :-*

I could never bring myself to purchase these rules because I hate the cover artwork so much... reminds me of South Park! :?

The cover art, and the rest of the art contained in the book are my only gripe, however the rules are solid, and the game play is fluid.

Character creation is fully customize-able, from a poor lackey caught out in the mix, to a super hero zombie killer, complete with followers (which must survive the game)

The scenarios are what drive the game, Always remember your mission objective! killing zombies if fun, but you can still lose the game by not fulfilling objectives.

In one game, all of our characters were dead at the end of the game, but we won because we met all of our objectives, it had a real bad movie ending feel to it!

Adversely we have slaughtered almost everything on the table, and still lost because we were an inch (or less) short of our objective!

If you have the opportunity, give it a try.
