Yes. Metal Magic work well for this. Denizen Sci-Fi, old GZG 25mm stuff.   Anything else come to mind? 
They were pretty the ones I could think of. Then there's the old Starguard stuff, but don't really know how they size up.

It's been a long time since I've played with Starguard minis in the lead, but my instinct would be to say that they're even smaller than Metal Magic and the like.

They are at least a head smaller, and not nearly as well sculpted, with a few exceptions. They're quaint, but best used within their own collection of figures, IMHO.
