WW1 Using Foundry Paints
« on: 07 March 2013, 03:25:18 AM »
I see most people are using Vallejo here. Has anyone painted up Great War minis with the foundry triads? Looking to start with some skirmishers for early War Brits, Germans, and French.

Thanks!

KT

I checked it out, only saw that someone used Drab for British helmets and Forest green for Jaegers. Is there somewhere where I can compare Foundry colours to Vallejo colours? Looks like most people use Vallejo so then I cold at lest find the equivalent foundry colour...

Sorry to bring this up again but I've spent a good hour on and off looking for a comparison between the Foundry and Vallejo colours with no joy  :(

Even if it's a case of mixing two together then that's a start  :)

cheers

Sorry, I can't help either. I use Foundry for flesh and some of the trimmings but follow Sidney Roundwood's suggestions for the main uniform colours.
