Dr. Horrible & Cpt. Hammer
« on: March 14, 2013, 11:06:37 AM »
Mildly supes thread ;), but I guess this is the place.
This is about Joss Whedon's Dr. Horrible Sing-along blog (not sure if everyone knows about it, here you have a link: http://drhorrible.com/)

It's just a funny parody made at nearly cost 0, so don't expect anything seroius ;D.
As soon as I saw Hasslefree had released this mini, I knew I needed it.

I also purchased this other one and made some work on it (using the exceeding green stuff from my other current project)

Not totally satisfied -specially the boots. But well, good enough for me.

The whole thing is here:

I hope at least this make you smile :)

Not bad at all! Yea the boots are a bit off but still the movie was a bit campy so the off boots isn't that off if you think about it. I loved the movie, at first I cringed when I saw the concept of the movie and then gave it a go...even reviewed it on my blog several months back on Dice of Legends.

Love it!  I'm a big fan of Dr. Horrible's Sing-a-long blog.  I had seen the Hammer figure, but hadn't seen anyone really capture Dr. Horrible yet.  Well done!

Could have used these from Black Cat

Remove the shotgun and make his death ray.

Those are really nice you Dr Horrible is one of the best I have seen.  Zombiesmith do a nice one too though a bit more comical.
Barbarella: What's that screaming? A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming...

Wonderful!

You need a Moist Sidekick, as well as a Penny to rescue!

Hammer was Nathan Fillion, so darkish, I suppose.

Now, are you going to do the rest of the Evil League of Evil?  And what about the singing telegram guys delivering Bad Horse's messages?

Haha, it would be fun sculpting the whole ELE and the rest of the cast. Hm, not sure, maybe I someday dare to do Penny for a start...
Thanks everyone for the kind words!

I second the request - someone needs to do a Felicia Day mini. Hasslefree, perhaps?
from Mr.Vampire: "It's the paintjob that makes the miniature fight harder not the size."
