RECON28 & Force of Arms Vietnam figures ?
« on: March 25, 2013, 03:34:21 PM »
I've all ways had an interest in the Vietnam War, played it way back in 20mm, but with failing eye site moved up to 28mm and different genres. I've recently been thinking about getting back into Vietnam, done a bit of a search on the net and decided I was going to get Force of Arms miniatures ONLY to now find their site is gone and Very limited amounts available from the US - can anyone tell me whats happened to FoA please.
Also interested in eBobs RECON28 but his site has said 'coming soon' for quite some time - again, anyone know whats happening with these minis ?

Thanks for any info  in advance

"Force of Arms" appears to be out of the market for a time, and it is sad because it has very nice figures and vehicles. You can buy them from "The Wargames Command Post". About Ebobs´ "Recon28" they are fixed in the coming soon state, I think. Have you seen the "Eureka Miniatures" figures? You can buy them in the US...

Thanks for that Juan, am in the UK so the Wargames Command Post would be handy. I havent checked to see how well Eueka's would fit with FoA, I dont like mixing figs if the style/size is too obvious.

Regards

The Eureka stuff is tiny, I bought the Aussies a good while back and they are true 25mm (also an old range so the figures are a little more crude than nowadays)however they would be closest fit to Recon...but they only do a select few figures atm so would hesitate to go for them if you are looking at expanding your forces.

Thought Eureka's looked slender Lowtardog thanks for the heads up. Am only looking at a small US force, maybe 15-20 figs or so.

Yarp or Baker company.

force of arms figures here I think yourself or another was looking in an other thread

http://www.thewcp.co.uk/shop.php?CatID=2

or Baker company

Cheers Lowtardog, yea that's me looking for them in a Wants thread, I might get lucky.
I'm guessing eBob's been too busy doing commissions so hasnt been able to finish his own line of figs.
