Trent miniatures command sets ?
« on: 25 March 2013, 08:20:03 PM »
Hi,I was wondering if the membership had any info on the availability of command packs for the above range.I am specifically trying to find out if the Highland Fencibles figures have a command set available, sometimes it's a little difficult to find out what is and isn't available in this range.Failing the availability of a specific set from Trent can anyone suggest alternative figs, they are 28mm by the way, that I could use that would be suitable replacements, thanks in advance.

Warlord carry Trent stocks at UK shows.
Maybe they might know?

Or Nick at Northstar?
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

Didn't see any sign of them on North Star.

Trent have an annoying habit of not getting a full command set out for their figures. I ended up having to get Elite ensigns to fill out my Austrian units because all they did was officers.....grrrr

When I tackled the chap from Trent about it a few Salutes back, he was most sheepish about it.....but still no command!

My son sculpted most of the Napoleonics for Duncan at Trent. He always said he had made more figures than were cast up, Duncan's approach was bordering on chaotic it seemed from the outside. I think the Highland figs were the last he made for him! Don't suppose that helps much but tackle Duncan he will know more.

Yankeepedlar01,thanks for your reply,I have over the years often seen figs from this range in Trent adverts in various wargame mags but never come across them in blisters,so I find myself agreeing with you when you use the word chaotic,I have in the past spoken to Duncan at shows and been assured missing figs would "be along shortly",so I'm afraid I won't be holding my breath, shame really as I think the ranges would really take off if marketed sensibly, not that I know how to run a business mind !

They were in blisters last week on Warlord's stand.

Didn't look closely to see what they had mind.
