The paintwork on this one is up to your usual standard  :-* ... I don't know whether you plan to add any decals but I think it would help add 'something' to the large flat areas if you did.

With regards to the miniature itself, it looks like a toy... maybe something from Power Rangers... and does absolutely nothing for me.

Thought it was a critical mass games 'vehicle'. A bit too toyish sculpt as has been stated  before. Nice camouflage as rver.

Exactly this.

A lot of GW's new stuff has a similar problem. They look like Zoids or Power Rangers stuff.

As above though, excellent paintjob.

Add me to the "great paintjob...horrible mini" category.  Looks like an errant leg of Voltron.

I quite like the paintjob and the mini, I can understand the criticism that its 'toyish' but given its for an alien faction, maybe they have a completely different idea of what stuff should look like?? Maybe if Zoids had never happened then we wouldn't see it as toyish?!?!?!?!

I really liked the previous T-Rex walker, and although this is less impressive, it fits the bill for a fairly unimpressive APC on legs (like an M113)?? I hope it comes with options for different gun turrets/options as I wouldn't have the current weapon on it.

Great painting as always. The designer never went to army I think :p. Would be quite a bumpy ride to travel in that cat.

Yes, that's the thought -- I already make lots of models in a NF or Sci-Fi vein so wanted to offer mecha in animal form rather than human form for the Carnivoran faction.

I originally made a fairly utilitarian armoured truck to cart the Felids about, but I noticed when people built Felid forces they often used animal-form mecha as vehicular support for them rather than my truck, so I am responding to customer preference.

Works for me as I am too old to have watched Zoids (or Voltron or whatever these cartoons are) as a lad!  I missed transformers, zoids, all that robot stuff.  The robot of my childhood was Gigantor!  :-)

It reminds me of the old void metal four legged APC,

The only objection I would have is it being a walker there would be issues with loading/getting aboard, I know science fiction doesn't have to be possible....... but how would you get wounded or ammo aboard,
also the gearing required for a walker would severely limit transport capacity,

It's got doors on either side (because I didn't want the troops piling out of its arse!) and the thought was it would lower its hull to near ground level, with a ramp coming out as the door opens to meet with the ground.

I'm thinking about sending some of the 15mm aliens that ride in this to dwartist and asking him to take a snap -- they actually look good together....

I kind of like it actually. Quite characterful and probably the kind of stylized vehicle that would be utilized by a feline race. the rotary cannon is a nice touch.

Of course, I'm tempted to order five of them just to see if they could combine to form the mighty Voltron. ;D

I want one to do a Thundercats project.  Although Voltron would be cool too.  will this one be done in 28mm as well?  Nice camo job!
This is my boomstick!
