Affordable laser cut scenery.

Heya guys

I've just started becoming interested in playing infinity and have started to look into laser cut scenery.

I know that there are a few specific laser cut pieces designed for the game but they're a little on the pricey side...

I've been having a look around on the web for some more affordable scenery with no such luck... Have you got any ideas?

These are who I have been lookng at:

I'm really interesed in the stuff from BPLaser, really wide variety of stuff and readonably priced but it's from Aus, so the postage would be really expensive and then customs...

I've had a look at Antenociti's Workshop.

War Mill (but they don't seem to show all their stock on the website (saw loads more at a recent war games show in Abingdon).

Perdoma (I think that's the name)...

There are loads more that I've looked at but can't remember who they were?!?

ANybody else have any suggestions?

Fenris has a growing number of laser cut bits including railings - they have also just done a nodding donkey too.

Sarissa precision ( http://www.sarissa-precision.co.uk/store/system8/ ) might be worth a look as well.

For less futuristic/ scifi looking buildings for maybe an older part of town, the Warbases stuff ( http://war-bases.co.uk/BUILDINGS/VBCW-28MM) could be a good starting point if you'd add some little bits like printed out holo-adds (probably wouldn't need much more than inkjet/ laser transparencies, a printer and some plastic card strips).

The Sarissa Precision stuff looks awesome, my partner has just said that they're also at Salute this year (oops, I feel like I'll be taking an expensive detour to their stand)...

Might try and mix some of the sarissa stuff with the bp laser stuff as I really like the bplaser stuff it's jsut such a shame about it being from AUS

As Inky Dinky pointed out, the Sarissa precision stuff is very nice. The Sci fi Warehouses are especially nice bits of kit

If you are after cheap, why not look at the Amera plastics range?

Some of these kits are massive, I've got quite a few. Really nice man to deal with and with a sharp knife and liquid poly glue you can have them built in no time.

I put a vote in for the Sarissa products.  I have some of their pods and love them.

Affordable is in the eye of the beholder (and very dependent on location for tax and postage), but here are the laser terrain scenery companies I know of that make near future or sci-fi that haven't been mentioned:

I vote for MMG. Even for 28mm I'd recommend at least buying the concrete (?) wall set, as the walls are about 40mm tall which would be fine for 28mm yard walls or similar...

Warmill stuff is very nice.  I have the hab units and stop barricades.  Really nice details.

Same goes for Fenris. Ian does so nice gratings and railings.

I'm really liking the look of:
CT Scenery

Game Craft Miniatures hold a lot of potential, I quite like the look of the middle east buildings, I was thinking of using them as a base and 'sci-fi-inf' them up a bit with doors/tech pads/pipes/sci fi paint job etc. Might be quite a cool project...

I love the site office from Laser Cut Card, really cool, see some potential in it... 'Infinity-ing' it up a bit

Some of the sci fi buildings from Miniature Scenery is pretty cool! Love all the little details
(I collect Eldar as well and some of the Elven stuff would be AWESOME!!!)

And Amera Plastic Mouldings, some of the kits hold some potential...


So now I guess I'll have to go to back to the drawing board and sketch up some ideas, see what is more cost effective...
A). Getting some buildings as bases from Game Craft Miniatures and sci-fi-ing them up
B). Order Infinity scenery
C). Build my own stuff
D). Go crazy and order the stuff I love from BP Laser

I've been "sci-fying" some of the Gamecraft Middle East buidlings myself.  The one with four doorways can be turned into a nice looking storage building pretty easily.  I also ordered a bunch of medium crates from BPLaser that I'm waiting to arrive.  Their stuff is beautiful.  If money were no object, I'd splurge on their site big time.
