New Range from Black Cat Bases, available at Salute!
« on: April 15, 2008, 07:50:46 PM »
Hi,

We will be attending Salute on stand TX05. Due to circumstances beyond our control we have been a bit quite on new releases for a while now and therefore have alot of new figures which will be available at Salute, we will then get them on to the website over the next month as quickly as we can and of course release them here on Lead Adventurer!

Here are a couple of sneak peeks at our new gothic horror range
"The Lost and the Strange"

Characters: Mad cat lady, librarian, groovy detective and nurse

Familiars
We will only have a limited stock of these at Salute! Please note they are true 28mm scale and prices start at £1.

We will also have a pirate participation game with us on table GX04 which is next to our stand so if you have always wanted to be a swashbuckler, or a bar fighter or a zombie then come along and play some silly pirate related games. TSS have kindly provided the terrain boards for this game.

As some of you may have noticed from our website we have recently taken on the Little Green Man range of scenery to produce under licience, this will be available at Salute. The rest of this range will be on the website as soon as possible after Salute with ranges from 6mm-54mm scales available. Here are a few examples from the range.:

Little Green Man

We hope to see you at Salute! :)

Great to see another gothic horror range Jo. Will you be covering figures in Victorian era colthing as well as the 20th century types you posted?

I can see the nurse figure appearing in many gothic, pulp and wierd WW2 scenarios. It would be nice to have a version in Victorian clothing too ...

Oh I like those!

And is that a "not-Jerry Cornelius" I spy? I think you may be getting an order when they are on the website...

Hi,

Thanks for the comments, this range is not going into victorian dress I am affraid it is very much a modern range. But never say never for maybe another range in the future!

Jolly Bob: We could not possible comment on that :lipps:    but it could be said the he is the final solution we suppose!

They will be on the website after Salute (I simply haven't the time before then, will post once they are up!) But we will have a limited stock at Salute if anyone is going (there are currently 20 figures in this range this is just a small preview!)

Jo:)

I picked a few of these up at Salute - there's a fantastic monk with a sawn-off shotgun, a great not-Hellblazer model and a host of others that i thought were great.

I just hope that Black Cat run with my suggestion of modern Fu-Manchu, Tcho-Tcho-esque mobsters and sorcerors - a Tcho-Tcho Tong or Triad is a fantastic idea (ripped wholeheartedly from the pages of Delta Green: Countdown) and would go some way to consoling me for the loss of Stone Circle's Chinatown range...

No, that's the Preacher.

Hellblazer is John Constantine, Scouse supermagus and Sting lookalike.

Hellblazer is most definitely NOT Keanu Bloody Reeves.  :x
