From left to right we have - a plastic toy gargoyle/winged dog type thing that my wife found at a boot fair for 20p,then a GW plague drone without the dodgy rider,GW finecast Cockatrice, another plague drone and a dragon (I think it was from a magazine) I got at the boot fair for £2 with a wing swap, used the wings off the old metal and plastic GW nazgul thing

Five large models in one entry, that has to be a first in the LPL :) A few close-ups next week would be nice 8)

What scale are those amazons?

The Amazons are old Grenadier minis.  I believe you can get them from Mirliton now.  They are 25mm.

Nice selection of monsters, the dragon conversion is quite effective. The amazons are nicely painted though I think the bases take a bit away from their clean look. Still a nice entry though!

Nice mix of winged monsters. Old school Amazons brings back some old school memories. :D

hm ... the outcome does not really reflect my opinion from the match, cause they are both somewhat cool. However, the monsters impression made it!
Monsters are somehow relatively rare in the LPL, aren't they?

Always been a sucker for old grenadier miniatures and like these as well. I would not mind seeing some ore detailed pictures of the monsters after this round has finished since they look very pretty.
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?
