That is an amazing transformation from a yellow domino brick to a really great shanty bunker  :-* Thanks for bringing the idea forwards

The bikers look great as well, although they could need some dirt. Scary to dirty up such great painting, but they just look a bit to clean for the post apocalypse / fallout feel IMO.

Thanks guys. I agree about lack of dirt, I think I'm scared that I'll ruin them after getting a decent finish. I will probably experiment more with dirt with the scavenger gang.

I stripped back the left and right biker a few weeks ago (old painting I wasn't happy with). Yours are lovely - I'm nicking that white stippling on the girl's jeans. Really makes her pop.

Awesome ! :-*
My biker gang got painted over a decade and a half ago. Not half as good as your beauties.

Cheers chaps.

I'm nicking that white stippling on the girl's jeans. Really makes her pop.

Thanks. Im really happy with how that worked out. I was running with the idea that denim seams tend to wear away to white or if they're cut offs then the white represents the frayed edges.

I managed to finish another before the weekend with another well under way.

The rebel flag has also come out well on this one too.

Just finished this guy. He'll probably end up as part of a Caravaneer gang for TNT. Fun as always to paint, Copplestones sculpts are just great. Hope he gets around to making more Post-apocalyptic minis at some point.

Nice work on the figures. I really dig the rebel flag do-rag.

I have almost all the Copplestone/eM-4 figs but I have for some reason never got around to painting them.

a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

It's been a LONG time since I did anything on this project. Part of me has struggled with what to actually build for it. With limited space to store stuff and far too many options for scenery and locations. Inspiration finally came whilst walking around the coast near my home. I should set it where I live.

So, I've decided my Fallout Apocalypse project will take place on Portland, Dorset and events that take place after the bombs fall in 2077. Fallout will still very much be the theme.
With the two big industries being stone and fishing there is plenty of inspiration for scenery to build: quarries, mines, docks. One idea I had was to have a community that had been built around the ruins of the lighthouse in beach hut shanties.

Enough rambling. Here are a few bits I have done recently. A Caravaneer and some generic scatter terrain.
The shipping container I made as an experiment to save money on buying resin ones. Made from foam board, coffee stirrers, corrugated card and kebab skewers.

Always good to see Fallout modelling underway!

I had the same setting concern. The place my game is set is somewhere I will likely never visit! I did consider setting it in Britain, but ultimately remained in the US.

Your pics look great. I hope you get some more done soon - your settlement idea sounds great!

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to the challenge of making scenery that matches loosely where I live and still feeling like fallout.
