Very evocative, and hard to pin down. More Gothic in horror, more Future wars with the GW feel. Mixed bag VSF hasn't stopped you before...  ;)

 Interesting observation Doug. You're quite correct, it's all grist for the mill for me.  I thought the steam engines and tubing had a Victorian sensibility. The GW figure (top row w/ Sword) I've had for years. It came in a set of decidedly fantasy Chaos warriors.

Very cool! Of course now you've got me thinking about digging out some of my old mechanithralls and slapping some fresh paint on them.
