Sounds like currently the 07 Universal Camouflage is pretty standardized.  You'd be looking at basic infantry forces wearing the third one in the image you posted (I think).

That being said...you can roll with whatever, I doubt people will be picky.  I also don't doubt that we'll see many more variations on the pattern.

I may well go with that then. I only picked up a couple if squads and some DEVGRU so there's not a massive amount to paint (thankfully!).

Awesome, is that the Chinese sniper-grenade rifle/launcher?  (yes...that's a real thing!)

PS: The Marine in that picture looks a little dark, think he went a bit heavy on the MARPAT's black bits.

Does anybody have pictures of the Chinese missile launchers (either the Empress models or real) so that I can work out how to assemble them correctly?

Dear Elbows,
I have studied those pictures and I am still confused.
The Empress missile launchers have several small parts including sights, control boxes etc.  
The pictures do not make it clear what goes where.

Some very quick pictures. I just took this out of the bag and it is not glued so ignore the droop. If you look at the underneath of the barrel there is a metal pip. This fits in the hole.





The other one is like this.

Paul. I have to admit to finding this whole Empress moderns thing quite frustrating. At first I thought "I like the idea of some PLA, I can use them with the Vietnam terrain I'm making". Then I thought "I have to get some opposition" so I picked up some DEVGRU. Then I got the figures and thought "these are bloody lovely" and now I want more and modern VPA opponents. I didn't even intend to start a new period, just dabble! You and your high quality miniature ranges!
